We are pleased to announce that on the 10th May 2012 participants of the 2nd Virtual World Congress of Dental Students will have an opportunity to follow a lecture "Stem cells in tooth regeneration and repair" given by Professor Paul Sharpe, the Dickinson Professor of Craniofacial Biology and Head of the Department of Craniofacial Development at the Dental Institute, King's College London.

We are proud to announce that Dr. Titus Schleyer, DMD, PhD, Associate Professor and Director of the Center for Dental Informatics at the University of Pittsburgh will be giving a lecture on the first day of the 2nd Virtual World Congress of Dental Students.
Dr. Schleyer has been active in dental informatics research since 1989, conducting seminal research on electronic dental records, and Internet applications, workflow and human-computer interaction in dentistry.

The Virtual World Congress of Dental Students is an innovative project by a national dental students' association in Croatia – Udruga studenata dentalne medicine. The 1st Virtual World Congress of Dental Students, held in May 2011, was a huge success and gathered a number of dental students and professors from five continents. It is one of few virtual congresses held in the world and, to our knowledge, first such congress for dental students.
